Versatility in Clinical Imaging The Isocam Imaging System is incredibly adaptable insure the best images for the technician while remaining open and non restricting for the patient. Pediatric SPECT Imaging  Open design of the gantry eliminates the claustrophobic effect. The non-circular orbits of the gantry allow the SMART Digital detectors close proximity to maximize resolution for even the smallest of patients. Ultra high energy (UHE) collimators are changed with ease  The technologist loads the 373 pound UHE collimator onto the SMART Digital detector using the easy-to-maneuver collimator exchange cart. The UHE collimator is designed for photon energies up to 511 keV. Breast imaging  The breast imaging pad is placed on Isocam Technologies' adjustable imaging table so that the patient can rest comfortably with feet toward the gantry in a non-confining environment. SPECT Cardiac Imaging using the UHE collimator with detectors in 90 degree position  The patient is placed on the imaging table, in the feet-first position ensuring patient comfort and compliance. Total body imaging using real-time autocontour  Isocam Technologies' autocontour system follows the outline of the patient's body to ensure that the detectors maintain close proximity (1.2 cm) for maximum spatial resolution. Total body imaging may be performed in continuous or "step-by-step" mode. Patient imaged on hospital bed  The open design of the gantry allows critically ill patients to be imaged in their hospital beds, even when on a respirator or cardiac monitor. The unique ability to position the detectors at different heights allows simultaneous image acquisition over different areas of the patient. |
